Glass Penguin Figurines Set of 2 Clear White Swirl Hand Blown Art Decor Vintage

These cuties may be a mated pair: one has more dramatic coloring & is slightly larger than the other - just like in nature! Their maker is unknown, but they are hand blown using techniques inspired by Murano glass artists - if not actually made by Murano artists. They have hollow bellies that required swift & careful glass manipulation to achieve the form, including their tails, and the internal latticework also known as a drapery or filigrana technique. The black glass for their beaks & eyes was added after the bodies were completed but while the glass was still hot. Like New Condition: no chips, or cracks. Measurements: 6 3/4" tall, 12 3/4" round at their widest point, the more colorful one is 5 1/2" from tip of tail to front of belly, the other is 5 1/4" from tip of tail to front of belly
