Up for sale is a super nice Stanley #4 type 17(1942-1945) hand plane. This one has a smooth sole . This one has the steel adj. nut on the frog. This type 17 does not have the frog adj. feature, some type 17's do and some don't. I have flattened the sole and cleaned up the sides. The tote and knob are in great shape with no cracks or damage. Really nice plane and ready to go to work in your shop.
